Life changing experience

January 10, 2006 things were looking pretty good in the Deambrosi's household. Everyone was happy and healthy. We even went to gattitown for an evening of fun. Little did we all know the things that were yet to come in our lives. January 27, Sofia felt very tired and with no energy to play. "She is coming down with the flu" we would say, but no flu came. January 29, we rush to the hospital with our little Sofia who was having rapid breathing. She was diagnosed as a DKA patient in short a patient with juvenile diabetes.

Jan. 31, Sofia was transfered from PICU to Pediatrics in a red wagon. Overall she was not very pleased with her visit to the hospital, but she really like that red wagon. The day she left the hospital we took her to the circus with doctor's permission to help her forget those awful experience.

Several weeks later, we are doing just fine with our new diagnose.
