At the beach

We thought the water would be cold, but it was actually quite pleasant so Sofia went ahead and jump right in.



This is a property that Maria's grandfather owns and its closed for remodeling. Hence, there is no one around. What used to be a resort will now become apartments and condos for those who enjoy windsurfing. This beach is in the top 10 best windsurfing and kite surfing spots in the world.

Sleding without snow

For those who don't travel much outside of the States, it is possible to sled without snow or ice. All you need is a Yagua and a slippery slope, may it be of mud or wet grass. It's a lot of fun for both kids and adult.

Christmas Day

Christmas day we went to a cabin up on the mountain top. Maria's family spent the day there and the kids had a blast. So many new things to see and do.

Mamita's house

This was Sofia's first and last lollypop for that year and a little extra insulin. She did very well staying away from candy. I took a picture to remind us that she can still have a normal life even with her diabetes.

Wedding

Fill with activites, we were also invited to attend a wedding. An old friend was getting married. It was a beautiful wedding.
